Because of the rise in use of artificial intelligence technology, we find it necessary to clarify TBDIs position regarding the use of this technology in research and writing. It is our desire that TBDI will equip students with a working knowledge of the word of God, and at the same time encourage students to seek the Lord's guidance and direction, not the guidance of artificial technology. This rule will fall under the code of conduct: Personal Testimony and Accountability and is effective immediately:

Academic Integrity

Students are forbidden to use ChatGPT or other similar AI tools for research, writing assignments, or sermon outlines. Using these tools is considered a form of plagiarism and cheating; and is cause for dismissal.
