2020 KJV JUBILEE **REGISTRATION READY**
More than just another revival meeting, the KJV Jubilee is a much-needed time of instruction for Christians, Bible students, preachers, and pastors. What a blessing Dr. and Mrs. Peacock and the members of Bible Believers Baptist are in hosting this meeting. Their graciousness and hospitality reach above and beyond. Each year I think, “There’s no way the meeting can get any better!” and then the meeting starts, the preachers preach, the singers sing, and the Lord begins to move in a timely and special way. I think this year, with all that has been going on in our country, we really need this meeting to recharge and retarget our priorities as Christians, and to refocus our resolves as preachers and/or pastors. The focus and theme of the meeting will be Holding Fast the Faithful Word. The preaching and teaching will be concentrated on this topic and this is especially important for the days in which we live, since so many preachers and ministries are preaching and promoting everything but the Bible.
There are a few changes that must be implemented this year due to the virus situation:
We will not be providing a staffed nursery for any of the services. There will be a few rooms for mothers to use, should they need to take their children out during the services.
Also, we have not decided if the ladies’ luncheon (for preacher’s wives, TBDI student’s wives, and TBDI lady students) will be a possibility this year or not. We are monitoring the situation and will let you know when we make the final decision.
As far as lodging is concerned, we are not providing any hotel arrangements or discount information this year. For some, it is cost effective and convenient to get together with others and rent a house. We might suggest you consider the option of being able to cancel because of the volatile condition in our country.
The meeting schedule will start on Wednesday evening (the 4th), with morning sessions on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Typically, the meeting on Saturday will end in the early afternoon. Usual service times are observed on Sunday. The TBDI graduation will commence on Friday evening.
The Jubilee is FREE OF CHARGE, but please take time to register. Registration helps us plan accordingly. If you have to cancel after registering, that is fine, but please email us and let us know if you do. Here is the registration link: http://www.biblebelieversbaptistchurch.org/news/?p=282
We really hope to see you at Jubilee this year. If you come, I’m convinced that you will leave better than you came, ready to move forward serving the Lord and looking up for His soon return.
Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. (Titus 1:9)
